In this zone, you will see a range of reptiles from all over the world.Starting from lizards to snakes, turtles and even a crocodile!
Reptiles are a class of vertebrates made up mostly of snakes, turtles, lizards, and crocodilians. These animals are most easily recognized by their dry, scaly skin.Almost all reptiles are cold-blooded and most lay eggs though some, like the boa constrictor, give birth to live young.
Some of the reptiles you will meet in our reptile zone have been rescued from animal welfare organizations across Greece and have been rehomed in our aquarium. You will be able to find out more about our animals’ individual stories during our guided tours.
